Online Parent Consultations
Support for parents across Ireland, from first concerns to clearer next steps.
Noticing that your child may be developing a little differently can bring up many different feelings. For some parents, it may simply be a quiet sense that something is a little different and wish to understand it better. For others, especially when differences feel more noticeable or confusing, it can bring up worry or feel overwhelming, particularly after reading information online. Wherever you are in that process, speaking with someone knowledgeable can bring a sense of calm and reassurance as you think about the next steps.
What we offer
We offer online parent consultations for families all over Ireland who are looking for a supportive, informed, and reassuring space to talk through what they are noticing. These consultations are for parents who may be observing differences in their child’s communication, play, behaviour, regulation, or social interaction and who want some guidance without feeling rushed, judged, or pressured.
For many families, this stage can bring a lot of questions. You may be unsure what you are seeing or wondering what it might mean, or simply feeling alone with your thoughts. Our aim is to help you feel less afraid, more reassured, and more confident in your understanding of your child and their development.
Many families are not ready to pursue a psychological assessment straight away or they may not feel the need to seek a formal diagnosis at all. Others may be waiting on public services and want to know how best to support their child in the meantime. And some parents simply want clarity, reassurance, and a better understanding of what they are seeing day to day, along with confirmation that they are doing so much right already.
Our consultations give parents the opportunity to talk openly about their concerns, ask questions, and receive guidance based on a strong understanding of early development and neurodivergence. We focus on your child’s strengths, individuality, and potential, not just the challenges.
Together, we explore what you can do from the moment you start noticing signs, how to support your child in practical, meaningful, and nurturing ways at home, and how to feel more equipped and confident as a parent. We also talk through what supports or options may be available to you when, and if, you feel ready.
Above all, our goal is for you to leave feeling reassured, empowered, and hopeful, with a deeper understanding of how amazing your child is and how best to support them to thrive in their own unique way.
A gentle first step
These consultations are not assessments and do not involve diagnosis. Instead, they are intended as a gentle first step that helps parents feel less overwhelmed and more confident moving forward. Consultations are particularly suited to parents of very young children, including those under two, who may feel unsure where to start but want to do the best for their child.
Our aim is to offer a calm, reassuring space where parents feel heard, supported, and guided, rather than alone with their thoughts. Please fill up our contact form below and Aoife will be in touch.
